Outdoor lighting pairs minimalist style with human-scale proportions

May 14, 2024
Dark-sky-friendly street lighting features pedestrian-scale proportions and a modern design aesthetic.

Intended for urban spaces such as courtyards, university and corporate campuses, parks, transit access and transitional areas, Lupa by Cyclone Lighting, an Acuity Brand, pairs a minimalist style with a light engine designed to produce a more comfortable visual environment.

A hardware-free disk shape and integrated arm are part of the cast aluminum housing that evokes a clean, modern style for contemporary spaces yet provides robust construction. The optical module emits a soft, uniform light and even light distribution. Light distribution patterns include symmetrical for wide spaces; asymmetrical for streets or wide passages; or pathways for linear pedestrian routes.

The light engine consists of 96 high efficacy LEDs and provides 100,000 operating hours. The fixture finish can be selected from several colors and textures to suit the installation environment. Lupa is IP66-rated and dark sky friendly.
